"Smile" a fine art photography collection by photographer Paul Williams
Created by Photographer Paul Williams “Smile” is an on going project that explores people being photographed. It looks at how people have created a persona that they only use when being photographed. The series of art photos isolates people in colour against a black and white background. The use of mixed genre is a conscious exploration of the differences that black and white and colour bring to photographs. This brings an abstract effect to the photography where reality, colour, is isolated against the abstract black and white imaginary world. This enhances the juxtaposition of people making their relationship to each other more powerful.
